<p>In order to improve the drive of continuous rolling trains and thereby ensure a uniform rotation speed of each roll in the various stands in return for a minimum investment in electromotive power and drive system, it is proposed that to several stands or sets of stands of rolls (2) be added a summarizing gear stage (1), the input of which is fed by individually adjustable drives (4) and whose output is mechanically linked with the corresponding stand (2), and at the same time with the input of a summarizing gear (4) of an adjacent stand (2).</p> |
