The denitrated, low-alloyed and high-strength fine-grained structural steel consists of 0.12 to 0.25% of carbon, 0.25 to 0.60% of silicon, 1.30 to 1.80% of manganese, at most 0.050% of phosphorus, at most 0.050% of sulphur, 0.08 to 0.18% of vanadium, at most 0.070% of aluminium, at most 0.06% of niobium, at most 0.70% of nickel and 0.010 to 0.035% of titanium, the remainder being iron, and is used preferably for producing roadway support profiles in mining operations.
