Wiper system, in particular for cleaning the windscreen of a motor vehicle

A description is given of a wiper system, in which the fundamental component parts of the wiper lever, in particular the individual shackles of the supporting-shackle system guiding the wiper strip and the hinged part of the wiper arm, are made from an aluminium alloy. As a result, the weight of the wiper lever is reduced compared to known designs which has a favourable effect on the service life and the noise produced by the wiper system.
