AUTOMATIC VOLUME CONTROL SYSTEM FOR RADIO AND A METHOD THEREOF, PARTICULARLY IN REFERENCE TO AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLING A RADIO VOLUME ACCORDING TO A PERIPHERAL NOISE LEVEL

PURPOSE: An automatic volume control system and a method for radio are provided to automatically control a radio volume according to an RPM(Revolution Per Minute) of a mobile equipment, inside/outside noise, and a currently set volume level, thereby removing inconvenience of manually controlling the volume by flight attendants. CONSTITUTION: A sensor(10) measures inside/outside noise of a mobile equipment, and senses a current volume level. A DB(20) stores the inside/outside noise, and stores an optimum volume level value corresponding to a current radio volume. A controller(30) compares with data received from the sensor(10) to calculate a comparison value, and operates the comparison value with the optimum value, then finds an optimum volume level. An operator(40) amplifies a control signal having the found optimum volume data, and controls the radio volume with the amplified signal to output the volume according to the optimum volume level.
