PURPOSE:To increase respectively the toughness of a core material and the residual compressive stress of an outside layer material and to improve the wear resistance of a product by specifying a residual carbide content to respectively specific values in the outside layer material and the core material and adjusting the carbide content in the outside layer material at the value higher than in the core material. CONSTITUTION:The outside layer material 2 is preferably formed of the chemical components consisting of 1.2-2.5% C, 10-20% Cr, 0.3-1.1% Si, <1% Mn, and >=0.2% Mo and the residual carbon content therein is specified to 10-20%. The residual carbon content in the core material 1 is specified to <=10%. The core material is preferably formed of the chemical components essentially consisting of 0.4-1.0% C, and 0.3-1.1% Si. The life of the product is improved by the above-mentioned constitution. |
