A hydraulically inwardly pivotable ground-working implement, the automatic control of which is possible with a very small number of parts, is described. The ground-working implement is seated on a cutter bar (3) which is connected fixedly in terms of rotation to a shaft (2). The position of the rotatable shaft (2) and of the cutter bar (3) is determined by means of a hydraulic cylinder (6). Fitted rotatably on the shaft (2) is a sleeve (7), to which a tracer (8) is fastened. The shaft (2) and the sleeve (7) have respective bores which, depending on the relative position of these two parts (2, 7), form a channel (12, 13) of differing transitional cross-section. The pressure with which the cylinder (6) is loaded is regulated by means of these channels (12, 13). When the appliance is moved in the direction of the arrow (10), the tracer (8) is pressed rearwards by an obstacle according to the representation of Figure 1, to the left in relation to the direction of movement by an obstacle, with the result that the pressure changes so that the cutter bar (3) is also thereby moved to the left or to the rear.
