An intrusion detector comprising an electronic evaluating circuit for alarm detection and forwarding of an alarm signal to a signalling centre is disclosed in which a noise detector combined with an infrared curtain detector is provided, the electronic evaluating circuit only generating an alarm signal when the noise detector responds before the infrared curtain detector.
