A high foam liquid nonionic laundry detergent composition comprises a C9-C11 fatty alcohol ethoxylated with 5 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol as the main component of the liquid nonionic surfactant. The composition is stable and has rheological properties such as pourability, dispensibility and dispersibility. The composition may be non-aqueous and include polyphosphate builder, anti-gelling agent and detergent adjuvants.
