The reflector (10) and the lens (16) can be adjusted by means of four locking mechanisms (22/23). Each locking mechanism forms on the one hand a plurality of grooves (22) on the lens (16), which grooves (22) are parallel with one another and transverse with respect to the axis (20) of the headlight, and on the other hand a spherical cap (23) which projects from the outer radial edge of the flange (11) of the reflector (10). The adjustment of the lens (16) with respect to the reflector (10) is effected before or during its bonding to the extent that the spherical cap (23) of the respective locking mechanism (22/23) engages in another groove (22). In this way, production tolerances are easily compensated and rejects due to damage to the lens are reduced. <IMAGE>
