<p>A laminated safety glass comprising a layer of a silicate glass, to which is bonded a layer of a plasticized plastic sheet containing polyvinyl chloride, said laminate containing therein an organofunctional silane and a process for preparing such laminated safety glass by unilateral or bilateral bonding of one or more silicate glass sheets with a plasticized polyvinyl chloride plastic film at an elevated temperature wherein the bonding is effected with the aid of a silicon-organo-functional silane and the bonding is effected at 120 DEG -200 DEG C.</p>
