The invention relates to a device for heat treatment of a material web, in particular textile web, in a spread-out state, for example therefore a tentering, drying and fixing machine. The object of the invention is to reduce energy losses on heat-treatment devices for material webs. The aim of the invention is effectively to prevent the emergence of treatment means from the inside of heat-treatment devices for material webs. This aim is achieved according to the invention by closed separating ducts extending between nozzle boxes provided with blocking nozzles and the passage slots adjacent to these boxes, the cross-sections of which ducts correspond approximately to those of the passage slots.
