<p>PURPOSE:To decrease man-hours in manufacturing an electrostriction effect element, by providing an electrode on one surface of each square raw ceramic sheet except one end, exposing the end surfaces of the sheets for every other layer, laminating the sheets, cutting the sheets, connecting the sheets and both ends of a block, insulating the end surfaces of the exposed electrodes, cutting out the sheets and forming a circular cylinder in a specified shape, and connecting the inner electrodes at the linear parts of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An inner electrode pattern 2 is printed on one surface of a specified square ceramic green sheet 7 except one end. The sheets are turned by 180 degrees for every other sheet. The sheets are laminated, heated and compressed. After burning, the sheets are cut into blocks 9 with piano wires 11. Temporary electrodes 6 are attached to the right and left surfaces including end surfaces 2a of the inner electrodes. The rear surfaces are masked with resin. Glass films 3 are formed on the front surfaces of the exposed electrodes 2 for every other layer by utilizing the electrodes 6. Similarly, the glass films 3 are attached to the rear surfaces of the electrodes 2. Then a circular cylinder 10, which has a parallel linear parts at parts of a circumference, is formed with a cylindrical tool. Outer electrodes 4 are attached to the surfaces of the parallel linear parts where the glass films 3 are present. Thus the electrostriction effect element is completed.</p> |
