<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a noiseless dehumidifier of low running cost which is constructed with smaller number of parts, by providing a gas separating unit installed with the gas separating membrane of selective permeability for water vapor, a pump which increases or decreases inner pressure of the gas separating unit, and a discharge pipe with a nonreturn valve. CONSTITUTION:One end or both ends of hollow yarns 11 are fixed to a gas-tight chamber 12 by epoxy resins, etc., and said yarns are covered with a dustproof filter 14 to constitute a gas separation unit 13. When the bellows 15 is compressed, the gas in the bellows is flowed through the opened nonreturn valve 17 and discharged to the outdoors, etc., through a discharge pipe 18. When the compression force is removed, the bellows 15 tends to return to the original state by the restoring force of a spring 16, and the inner part of the unit 13 is decompressed, and the water vapor is introduced through the hollow yarns 11 into the inner part of the unit 13 by the pressure difference between the atmosphere and said inner part. The introduced water vapor is discharged through the nonreturn valve 17 and the discharge pipe 18 to the outdoors, etc., when the bellows 15 is compressed again. By repeating these actions, dehumidification of a room is carried out.</p> |
