PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control method of a computer system. SOLUTION: A computer system can be controlled from a distant location by pressing a button of a wireless remote controller by a computer system user; when the user transmits a remote control signal by pushing the button, a reception unit of the computer system receives the signal and thereafter transmits an electric signal to a chip unit; a CPU is made to transmit an interrupt signal; the CPU is made to interrupt work being currently executed and to execute an interrupt service program, and made to execute a multimedia broadcast system mode or another operation system mode.
