<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate feed of containers to a conveyor, wherein slip-off of each container from the conveyor is well prevented, by furnishing detents to detain the trailing edge of each container at a certain spacing in such a manner as protruding at the surface of conveyor retractably. CONSTITUTION:A conveyor A is wound round a plurality of sprockets a1-a6 and rises along a semi-circle to make inversion then. A guide B is installed facing the semicircular portion of conveyor A with a certain specified gap therebetween. Accordingly a container X is placed on the conveyor A and transported while its upper opening is being blocked by said guide B. Here the conveyor A is equipped with a plurality of detents 1 at a certain spacing. Each detent 1 protrudes at the surface of conveyor A retractably, taking the protruded state normally, to be retracted when the weight of the container X is in effect. Thereby each container A fed onto the conveyor A is prevented from slipping off.</p> |
