PURPOSE:To enhance the serviceability of a ferromagnetic matrix by providing plural vessels packed with a ferromagnetic matrix in the flow direction of a fluid to be treated, and making the vessels independently attachable and detachable. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge 1 is partitioned into three cells C1-C3 a ferromagnetic matrix 4 is packed in the respective cells, and expansion joints 2 are connected to the two sites of a flow passage through the cartridge 1 to attach and detach the whole cartridge or the cells alone. An annular vessel 7 contg. a permanent magnet 6 is provided on the outside of the cartridge 1. When a fluid to be treated is passed through the cartridge 1, magnetic particles are attracted and collected by the ferromagnetic matrix 4, and only the cell with deteriorated attraction capability is exchanged. |
