"Port protecting facility" in a telecommunication exchange. Terminals can give access via an exchange to a computer connected to this exchange. In order to avoid violation of the computer by unauthorized persons the "call-back"-procedure known per se is followed. By having this procedure form part of the internal exchange procedures a larger scope can be realized with lower equipment costs than the known systems.
