PURPOSE:To obtain the title prepreg which undergoes no delamination at the interface between the matrix and a woven fabric, by laminating a thermoplastic resin film on a woven fabric washed to remove a sizing agent and/or immersed in a specified solution and hot-pressing the assemblage. CONSTITUTION:A woven fabric of, e.g., carbon fiber as a reinforcement is washed with a solvent (e.g., methylene chloride) to remove a sizing agent and/or immersed in a dilute solution of a thermoplastic resin (e.g., polycarbonate resin) and dried. A film of resin is laminated on the fabric, and the assemblage is hot-pressed. |
