PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient cooling effect even in a small area in an oil cooler for automobiles, etc. by providing heat radiation fins which guide air in one direction along the outer surface on the side face of the oil cooler main body made of aluminium formed in a flat and hollow shape. CONSTITUTION:An oil cooler 1 made of aluminum formed in an extrusion die in a flat and hollow shape has a snaking oil passage 2 formed in the inside by means of partition walls 13-15, and the oil flows in and flows out by an inlet connection member 6 and outlet connection member 6. Underneath this oil cooler main body 3 a plurality of heat radiation fins 4 are provided which have a specified distance among them in the right and left direction and extend as one body with the main body in the direction of front and rear of a vehicle, and those fins guide the air along the outer surface in one direction. With this arrangement a narrow space can be used and it is not interfered with or disturbed by other devices and sufficient cooling effect can be provided. |
