PURPOSE:To prevent the separation of coating due to poor degreasing from occurring by a method wherein the ratio of hydrocarbon to carbon in the outermost surface of a molded item is measured so as to degrease the again when the measured value of said ratio exceeds the predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:Because releasing agent 8 such as polyethylene-based wax adheres to the surface of a molded item 11 removed from a molding tool 7, the molded item 11 is degreased in the following step. Concretely, the releasing agent 8 is removed from the surface of the molded item 11 as a base material by rinsing in trichlene vapor. Next, the ratio of hydrocarbon CH to carbon C in the outermost surface of said molded item rinsed in trichlene vapor is measured. When the measured value or measured CH/total C exceeds the specified value, the molded item is sent back to the degreasing process again. When the wax content left on the surface of the molded item 11 is judged to lie in the allowable amount, the molded item is subjected to the following coating process. Concretely, urethane-based coating 12, for example, is applied onto the degreased surface of the molded item 11. An ESCA analyzer or analyzer employing electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis is used for the measurement of the CH/total C. |
