PURPOSE:To send a wavelength multiplex light without giving limitation to the number of terminal stations by sharing a multiplex/demultiplex element such as an interference film filter with plural terminal stations in an optical multiplex/demultiplex section at the center side. CONSTITUTION:One optical multiplex/demultiplex device 2 at a terminal station side is arranged to each terminal station and a multiplex/demultiplex section 1 at the center side is shared with all the terminal stations. In the multiplex/ demultiplex section 1, the interference film filter 6 is inserted between two triangular prisms 5 and the filter 6 transmits the light of wavelength lambda1 and reflects the light of wavelength lambda2. In receiving plural signals from the terminal station side, the filter 6 multiplexes the wavelengths lambda1, lambda2 into respective directions. |
