PURPOSE:To obtain a molding having a high strength and a high modulus of elasticity, by using a polyamide having both diacetylene and nonaromatic groups of a specified repeating unit. CONSTITUTION:A molding of a polyamide having both diacetylene and nonaromatic groups having a repeating unit of formula I, wherein X and X' are each at least one group or atom selected from among H, a 1-20C hydrocarbon group and a carbonyl or sulfonyl bonded to this hydrocarbon group and a halogen, R is a 1-20C bivalent hydrocarbon group whose aromatic hydrocarbon group is not directly bonded to the diacetylene group and R' and Z are each a 1-20C bivalent hydrocarbon group.
