PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition inhibiting metabolic enzyme of plant, increasing plant growth regulating action, treating crops in plowed field or paddy field in seedling raising period or after being transplanted to field, containing an isonicotinic acid anilide compound and a metabolic enzyme inhibitor as active ingredients. CONSTITUTION:One or more of isonicotinic acid anilide compounds shown by the formula (R1 is H or lower alkyl; R2 is H or hydroxyl group; X is halogen or methyl; n is 0 or 2; Z is H or halogen) is blended with a metabolic enzyme inhibitor such as carbamate compound and/or an organic phosphorous compound. The blending ratio is 0.01-2pts.wt., preferably 0.1-1pt.wt. metabolic enzyme inhibitor based on 1pt.wt. compound shown by formula I. |
