<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a dust recycling equipment facilitating the operations of water control and maintenance, by providing a magnetic drum for the recovery of magnetic dust from a converter slurry in converter facilities among facilities for iron manufacture and also providing a means of dehydrating the magnetic dust recovered by means of said drum. CONSTITUTION:In a power treatment stage 1, the converter slurry 5 is treated by the use of a classifier 13. On the other hand, a wire-rod slurry 6 and a yard slurry 7 are supplied to a primary thickener 12, and all kinds of dust are dehydrated and recovered from the thickened slurry 16 by means of a vacuum drum 18. Further, >=50% of the magnetic dust 41 from the converter slurry 5 fed from the classifier 13 is recovered by means of the magnetic drum 42. At this time, the recovered magnetic dust 41 is sandwiched between a drum body 49 and a dehydration roller 50 to be brought into contact with the outside peripheral surface of the above body 49 to undergo dehydration. Water content of this recovered dust 41 is regulated to <=25%. That is, owing to the above dehydration roller, the operation of water control in the following stages can be reduced or obviated.</p> |
