PURPOSE:To check an increase in the scale of the apparatus and a hike in the cost, by having a measuring section shared by photosensors at a plurality of measuring sections connected to an optical fiber transmission path to eliminate an increase in the measuring section otherwise required. CONSTITUTION:A host transmission controller 1 outputs control information for selecting one of photosensors 9a-9f to be sent to an optical fiber transmission path 10 through a light combining/branching filter 5a and then, input to first and second measuring sections with branch connectors 6a and 6b. Now when control information specifies the sensor 9a, an optical switch 8a is closed while other optical switches 8b-8f are opened. Information of the sensor 9a is sent to a measuring section 2a through the switch 8a, the connector 6a, the branching filter 5a and a star coupler 4a. Thus, one sensor and one measuring section are connected selectively and this eliminates the need for addition of measuring sections despite an increase in sensors thereby checking increase in the scale of the apparatus and hike in the cost. |
