PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling work and the replacement of a nozzle and to reduce cost, by receiving a nozzle unit for emitting a recording liquid equipped with an electromechanical transducer in a socket in a freely detachable manner and respectively connecting the electrodes of the transducer to the contacts in the socket. CONSTITUTION:Contactors 11A, 11B formed, for example, of phosphor bronze having springiness are provided to the inner peripheral surface of a socket 10 formed of an insulating material corresponding to the connection parts of an inner surface electrode 3A and an outer surface electrode 3B. After a nozzle pipe 1 is adhered and fixed to a cylindrical piezoelectric element 2 having the electrodes 3A, 3B formed thereto by an epoxy adhesive, a nozzle unit 6 is engaged with the socket 10 and the contacts 11A, 11B are contacted with the electrodes 3A, 3B under pressure and the unit 6 is set to the interior of the socket 10 by a latch part 10B. Electrical connection is obtained only by inserting the nozzle unit in the socket, and mounting and detachment are easy and the labor required at the time of the replacement of an inferior product or at an assembling time can be reduced. |
