PURPOSE:To improve the visibility of a mirror main body at time of high speed running by providing a slit, which pierces in the backward/forward direction of a car, in the peripheral section of a mirror main body and forming its opening area in such a way that it becomes smaller as it comes to rearward. CONSTITUTION:A slit 2a is formed at the top end 2f of a visor 2 for supporting a mirror main body 3. This slit 2a is so formed that its opening area becomes smaller as it comes to the rearward of a car body. For this reason, at the time of high speed running, the flow speed of the air flow B which flows through the slit 2a becomes larger than the flow speed of the air flow A which flows outside the visor 2. Hereby, the flow of Karman's vortex near the rearward of the mirror main body 3 decreases. Accordingly, it becomes possible to stabilize the negative pressure near the rearward of the mirror main body 3 and decrease the vibration of the mirror main body 3 and keep the visibility of the mirror main body 3 at time of high speed running in excellent. |
