PRODUCTIVITY ENHANCER IN PIG AND POULTRY

Addition of a combination of calcium formate or magnesium formate and phosphoric acid or an acid salt of phosphoric acid to the feed of young growing pigs or fattening poultry results in a higher or more rapid weight gain of the animals and an improved utilisation of the feed consumed. In the case of the pigs, the addition results in a reduction of the occurrence of piglet diarrhoea.
