PURPOSE:To automatically feed papers one at a time, by superposing cover paper, which is formed into a window frame shape wherein the central part of a printing range is cut out, to the surface on the side opposite to the image receiving surface of a transparent plastic sheet. CONSTITUTION:When printing is performed in such a stage that cover paper is superposed to a plastic sheet for printing, both of them are fed from a platen drum side between a platen drum 1 and a thermal head 3 in a state superposed and adhered under pressure in the order of the cover sheet 21, the plastic sheet 20, ink paper 8 and the thermal head 3. At this time, when the central part of the cover paper is cut out to a certain range, the plastic sheet 20 receives driving force from the part directly contacting the platen drum along with the cover paper 21. By this constitution, unlike the case of cover paper of a type covering the entire surface of the plastic sheet, no slip is generated between the plastic sheet and the cover paper and the plastic sheet is accurately fed according to the rotational quantity of the platen drum. |
