PURPOSE:To practice quality judgement having small difference from the decision of panelists, by dividing surface of laver into a number of measuring sections and determining distribution form of positive reflectance of each section and median reflectance and comparing its value with a calibration curve as criteria. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a fixed form laver is divided into a number of measuring sections and light from a white light source 1 is vertically emitted on the surface of the laver through a half mirror 2 and positive reflected light is reflected by the half mirror 2 to give incidence on a receptor element, which is then converted to electric signal and memorized in a memory device 5. When measurement of each measuring section is over, positive reflective distribution is determined by a distribution operating apparatus 5b and a distribution form and medium reflectance are calculated by a form. median-calculating apparatus 5C. A diffusion reflectance is measured within the range of about 600-680nm wavelength which is related with a taste of laver and distribution form and median reflectance are calculated. Those result and calibration as criteria is relatively decided by a decision apparatus 5d. |
