<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a sound shielding and heat insulating plate having high effect and high strength, by sucking air from each of the cells formed to a plate-shaped material, which formed by laminating a plurality of synthetic resin sheets at least one of which has an uneven surface, throngh each of the small cells provided to said material before closing the small holes by the same synthetic resin material as the sheets. CONSTITUTION:A molding roll 6 has a large number of rectangular projection like molding surfaces 8 arranged in parallel to the outer peripheral surface thereof and a smooth roll 7 has a smooth outer peripheral surface and, by the molding line consisting of both rolls 6, 7, a flat sheet 5 is welded to the upper surface of a sheet 4 having protruded parts 10 formed thereto in a grid pattern to obtain a plate-shaped material having a large number of independent cells 15. Small holes 17 respectively communicating with the cells 15 are made in the plate-shaped material and a vacuum suction tube 18 is inserted in each of the small holes 17. The tube 18 is gradually pulled out while vacuum suction and melting due to a welding nozzle 20 are continued to close each small hole 17. By this constitution, strength is high, the thickness of the protruded parts 10 is small as compared with the area of the material and the cells 15 contain no air and, therefore, sound shielding and heat insulating effects are also high.</p> |
