PURPOSE:To enable shortening of an axis-X movement stroke, by a method wherein a revolving shaft drive servo motor is mounted to an axis-Y slide saddle 11, and through rotation of a revolving shaft, a main spindle for machin ing is forced to effect swing motion. CONSTITUTION:An axis-Z slide saddle 5 is slid in the direction of an axis-Z through transmission of rotation of a servo motor for driving an axis-Z to a feed screw. An axis-Y slide saddle 11, is slid in the direction of an axis-Y through transmission of rotation of a servo motor 15 for driving an axis-Y through a gear 16 and a feed screw 17. Further, a revolving shaft 22 is rotatably disposed in a manner to extend through the axis-Y slide saddle 11, and rotation of a revolution drive servo motor 23 mounted to the axis-Y slide saddle 11 is transmited to the revolving shaft 22 through a worm gear and the like. A main spindle 19 for machining is mounted to the one end of the revolving shaft 22 through a spindle bracket 27. |
