<p>The electronic system for data acquisition and processing in a polymer synthesis installation, for simultaneous control of several fast physicochemical processes, comprises a set of N measurement channels with N sensors for physical quantities P, T, F, distributed in the polymer synthesis installation, for systematically monitoring parameters essential to the operation of the installation. Processing means comprise means for systematic periodic scanning of the N measurement channels, means for comparing scanned input signals with high and low threshold values, means for fault detection in the event of the thresholds being exceeded by an input signal, and means for instigating rapid scanning of the measurement channels corresponding to the subset of n2 rapid monitoring sensors in the event of a threshold being exceeded by the input signals delivered on a measurement channel of any one of a subset of n1 sensors monitoring priority parameters, and for providing for the setting up of a table of fault values for each of the measurement channels corresponding to the subset of n2 sensors. <IMAGE></p> |
