<p>PURPOSE:To improve print-processing efficiency through grasping at all times the current remaining quantity of blank paper and making a blank paper replenishment precise by indicating the remaining quantity every time a sheet of blank paper is taken out on the basis of the thickness information of blank paper stored. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage of a pressure sensor due to the thickness of the sheets of blank paper on the push-up plate of a blank paper cassette device 1 is in proportion to the thickness of the sheets of blank paper, and the thickness information of blank paper is read by it through an A/D transducer 301, and memorized in a memory 302. Every time a sheet of blank paper is taken out, its thickness information is compared to an initial value and the number of the remaining sheets is calculated through its difference and indicated on an indicating device 200. Accordingly, the current remaining quantity of blank paper can be always grasped accurately, so the replenishment of blank paper can be done precisely,thus making the improvement of processing efficiency possible.</p> |
