The support comprises two horizontal, parallel arms (1, 11) supported by a base (2). It is square-shaped but with only three sides which define and maintain the dimensions of the opening. On the upper ends of the two lateral sides there are four notches (3, 3', 4, 4') which accommodate the handles (8a) of the bag (8) to retain it in position. A cover may also be provided. The support is retained by screws or suspended on a hook.
