PURPOSE:To make several types of paper sheets storable, by making a feed roller lower than a conveying surface after retreating and separating these paper sheets by the feed roller and conveying roller and, after these paper sheets are conveyed to the lower part of a mount, making them pass through the lower part of a hopper part by the feed roller. CONSTITUTION:When paper sheets 1 are issued out of a hopper 2, a gate roller 3 is stopped at a position at the highest point, whereby one of them is made passable through a clearance with a gate 5. Next, a feed roller 6 is rotated, the paper sheet at the lowermost part is retreated, thus one sheet is separated. And, it is retreated by a conveying roller 9 till it comes off a mount 31. Then, a lower surface of the feed roller 6 is stopped so as not to be projected out of a conveying passage, thus the gate roller 3 is retreated from the conveying passage. And, the conveying roller 9 is reversely rotated, conveying the paper sheet 1 up to the front from a tip part of the mount 31. Next, these paper sheets are delivered out of the hopper 2 by the feed roller 6, and these sheets are delivered to a conveying roller 9a and carried out to the front. |
