The invention starts from a sucker-rod guide with a bush enclosing the rods and projections arranged on the bush. So that the guide does not offer excessive resistance to the material to be delivered, effective guidance is produced and in addition results in only low frictional resistance, the projections are arranged on the basis of the invention one behind the other along a helical line and are provided diametrically as viewed in cross-section, specifically in such a way that only one pair is arranged or, in the case of two pairs, the diametral lines of the two pairs form a right angle.
