Container for purification of process gas

The invention relates to a container in which a process gas containing essentially hydrogen isotopes is purified of impurities by means of a getter material, an inlet for the process gas and an outlet for the purified gas, a heating device and also a sealing location being provided. The object of the invention comprises constructing the said container in such a way that it is suitable for preparing the getter material and that the getting (getter treatment) or purification of the process gas can be carried out in it and that after charging it can finally be sealed tightly. The invention achieves this object by a) the container wall comprising ceramic material, b) the inner space being subdivided to receive the getter material, c) the container wall being constructed such that it goes beyond the heated region and d) the sealing location being arranged in the unheated region.
