PURPOSE:To prevent peripheral equipment from being contaminated owing to the fall of oil by providing an oil pool to a pressure member which prevent a paper web from slacking. CONSTITUTION:Felt 26 which has superior oil absorptivity is fitted to the press- contacting part between a brake plate 25 and a paper web P and this is brought into contact with the paper web P as the oil pool part. Therefore, oil Oi which oozes from the paper web P when the web is saturated by being pressed by the press contacting of the brake plate 25 penetrates the felt 26 and is held temporarily. Then when the paper web P has a gap, the oil is absorbed by the paper web P by capillarity and returned. Consequently, the oil Oi which oozes out owing the press contacting of the brake plate 25 never falls in drops. |
