PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of lightweightiness while securing heat resistance in a piston, by constituting a top land, a ring zone and a skirt with an abrasion resisting aluminum alloy, while constituting a head with a heat resistant aluminum alloy, and joining both together. CONSTITUTION:A top land 2, a ring zone 3 and a skirt 4 of a piston are constituted of an abrasion resisting aluminum alloy, while a head 6 is constituted of a heat resistant aluminum alloy, and both are joined together. With this constitution, lightweightiness of the piston is promotable while securing heat resistance and abrasion resistance either. |
