In a winter sports apparatus, having a standing plate (5) and two runners (2, 3) connected to the standing plate via a pivot mechanism (4) and parallel in the direction (F) of travel, the pivot mechanism (4) converting a tilting movement of the standing plate transversely to the direction of travel into a proportional tilting movement of the runners, in order to achieve simple production and optimum operational safety, it is proposed that the pivot mechanism (4) be formed by two plate-shaped element (30, 31), arranged substantially horizontally, which are arranged vertically one above the other and at a particular distance apart, and also that the two plates each be connected at their sides to, in each case, at least one racket (8, 9; 10, 11) arranged on each runner (2, 3), and in the centre to at least one racket (6, 7) arranged on the standing plate, by hinges (24). <IMAGE>
