In order to meet greater demand, there was installed, instead of the broad strip (see Main Patent!), a rigid hollow circular body expediently made of Teflon, porcelain etc. which has a considerably smaller diameter than the circular inner housing, in which the circular body rotates. This hollow circular body has a web wall and is set in eccentric movement by a centrally arranged shaft with a rotor arm in such a manner that it constantly touches the walls of the inner housing and as a result forms 2 chambers which are continuously charged and discharged. In this case, the partition slides to and fro through a slot in the housing. To the right and the left of the partition, openings are arranged in the housing, to which the drawing-in and ejection lines are connected. For greater sealing, the partition can be guided through a cylinder which is mounted rotatably in the housing wall (Fig. 1). For reducing friction, a hardened surface, rounded off, or a lubricatably mounted ball can be arranged at the point of contact of the rotor arm with the inside of the circular body. A counterweight for compensating imbalance can be arranged on the rotor shaft. <IMAGE>
