PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having good density of an original color and reproducibility of a shading tone by controlling ratio of a spectral sensitivity range (lambdal) or more than the fifth sensitivity in the max. sensitive wave-length of the min. sensitive layer against the spectral sensitivity range (lambdah) of more than the fifth sensitiv ity in the max. sensitive wave-length of the max. sensitive layer to 0.3-0.9 times in a color sensitive emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled material comprises >=2 layers of at least one kind of the color sensitive emulsion layer selected among the red sensitive, the green sensitive and the blue sensitive emulsion layers. The ratio of the spectral sensitivity range (lambdah) of more than the fifth sensitivity in the max. sensitive wave-length of the min. sensitive layer against the spectral sensitivity range (lambdal) of more than the fifth sensitiv ity in the max. sensitive wave-length of the max. sensitive layer is controlled to 0.3-0.9 times in the color sensitive emulsion layer. Thus, the titled material having high satura tion against a clear and light red, and capable of reproducibility of a delicate shading tone in the shading part is obtd. by making the narrower spectral sensitive distribution of the emulsion layer having the min. low sensitivity in the red sensitive emulsion layer than the spectral sensitive distribution of the emulsion layer having the max. sensitivity. |
