In an elastomer-coated shaped body for high dynamic stress, the functional layer consists of a rubber-elastic matrix having low E-modulus of 0.1-1000 (1-100) N/sq.mm. Small hard elastic bodies equally large in each dimension, with a size of 0.9-20 (3-8) mm in the largest dimension, and E-molulus over 10000 (over 100000) n/sq.mm are strongly bonded, by chemical bonds, in the functional layer. USE/ADVANTAGE - The functional body is used esp. for elastomer-ocated rollers, full rubber tyres or wheels, caterpillar tyres or rims, resilient cushioning pts. or bridge supports. The dynamic E-molusus and the specific load/surface are increased. A higher squeezing efficiency of rollers can be achieved and higher pressure-pores can be transmitted. |
