For filling C-shaped scalp clips into the magazine of a scalp clip applicator there is a filling container for reception of a number of scalp clips, and an insertion device located on the magazine for connection of the filling container with the magazine in such a way that the scalp clips are transferred consecutively from the filling container into the magazine.
