The invention relates to an apparatus which is suitable for releasable attachment to the frame or net of a hockey goal and is suitable for improving the accuracy of shooting with a puck by an ice-hockey player, the apparatus consisting of flexible, planar elements which are suitable for attachment in the front aperture of a conventional hockey goal, these elements having one or more apertures or cut-away regions, and further consists of elements for releasably securing the flexible planar elements to the net or the two side posts and a cross-bar of the hockey goal.
