<p>PURPOSE:To integrally prepare a hollow molded article having a bent part, of which the desired inner diameter is secured at the end part thereof with high accuracy, with reduced material loss according to a blow molding process, by performing mold clamping in such a state that molds are matched by inserting a limit means into the leading end part of a parison. CONSTITUTION:A molten stock material is injected through a flowline consisting of a nozzle 3 and a core rod 3a to be formed into a cylindrical parison 13. When a first mold 7 is moved to a left direction by a drive apparatus 8, a mandrel 9 being a limit means is also moved to the left direction on a rail 12 through a spring 11. Because the lower end part of the parison 13 is moved by the mandrel 9, the injected parison 13 is reformed into a shape having a plurarity of bent parts in cooperation with the self-holding force and elasticity of the parison and formed so as to conform to the shape of the grooves of both split reforming moldes 6, 7 of and received in the molds to be subjected to mold clamping.</p> |
