<p>Biscopolyimidecarbonates are prepared by the reaction of a salt of a polyimide bisphenol, particularly a polyetherimide bisphenol, with at least one cyclic polycarbonate oligomer, preferably an oligomer mixture. They are useful as engineering thermoplastic resins, combining the properties of polycarbonates and polyimides in various proportions.</p> |
