A hinge consists of a door part 1 and a case part 2, each with a receptacle 3; 4. The long pin 8 in the case part has a turned, convex, domed bearing surface 10 which interacts with a concave bearing surface 9 in the short pin 7 of the door part. The bearing surface 9 has a greater radius of curvature than the bearing surface 10 and has a recess 9a for a stud or protuberance 10a formed on cutting-off of the short pin. The surface 9 is formed in connection with a cold-upsetting stage, the tool or the needle being made to exert extra pressure. |
