<p>PURPOSE:To contrive to improve availability of a physical screen by using a graphic screen/character screen overlapping display means to have input of both graphic and character screen objects and to display both objects simultaneously on the same physical screen. CONSTITUTION:A conversation screen control means 1 separates the picture information into a graphic screen definition 5 and a character screen definition 6 and stores them in different areas of a main memory area 70. A graphic screen output means 2 reads out the definition 5 to evolve it to a graphic screen object 8 and stores it in a main memory area 71. In the same way, a character screen input/output means 3 reads out the definition 6 to evolve it to a character screen object 9 and stores it in the area 71. Then a graphic screen/character screen overlapping display means 4 reads both objects 8 and 9 out of the area 71 and puts them on each other over the same physical screen 10 for display in the form of a graphic screen 11 and a character screen 12.</p> |
